Draft of Strategic Plan 2010

CBAA is currently developing a five-year strategic plan. To do this, the Strategic Planning Committee* began with a plan drafted by the Development Committee and sent to everyone on the CBAA board for comments. The draft you see here is based on all of that information.

In addition, there are some new initiatives suggested by the Strategic Planning Committee. The final section, Ideas, are taken from board feedback to the original proposal. The priorities are listed as high, medium and low; most include suggested annual financing goals.

Now it's your turn! As current and past board members, your feedback is vital to this process. You can post comments until May 1st on the plan, make suggestions for new initiatives, rank the ideas in terms of their importance to you. While you can post anonymously, it would be great if everyone put their name to their posts so we can have some conversation.

Once the board members have responded, the responses will again be incorporated into a revised draft plan that the entire membership will be invited to comment on. Once all comments are collated, the Executive Committee and then the full board will vote on the plan, which will be presented at the January, 2011, conference.

Thanks for your input into this vital work to help define CBAA's goals for the next few years.

For your information, the original organizational goals set up at the 2006 meeting in Alabama are included here.
